Briançon, France

30 sqm in the mountains

30 square meters to be divided into four people, a vacation home that is not only functional but at the same time welcoming. The challenge is to create the space, where it does not exist, to transform a studio apartment into a three-room apartment. Studying spaces carefully, with a system of walls reduced to a minimum in thickness, thanks to the use of metal profiles

that become themselves the backbone of custom-designed furniture, double bed, bunk bed and wardrobes. The apartment is characterized by the dividing wall between the living area and the sleeping area, entirely covered in parquet which is contrasted by large sliding mirrored doors that increase the perception of space thanks to the play of reflections.
