Project Description
The renovation – inside a building of the 1970s – involved the reorganization of the spaces and the union of two floors with demolition and rebuilding of partitions, flooring, coverings, painting, doors and windows and systems. Before the intervention, the building had a distribution not totally suitable for the best use for housing purposes. From an aesthetic point of view, we have tried to enhance – with an adequate vertical connection – the new staircase as a scenic element that penetrates up to the upper level of the house.
Great care has been taken to make the reception areas, the living room and the dining area visually permeable with the main distribution axis and the entrance. For the distribution area of the sleeping area – totally new environments – we then intervened with a contemporary language through the use of sliding openings and wall paneling with flush doors.
